Anyone want a fried egg?

by @ 4:22 pm on 7/31/2006.

It has been a trifle warm lately… Feels like Las Vegas in the summer but in SE Michigan….

95 degrees (35 c) but with the heat index is 110 degrees (43.33333c). Supposed to be 96 degrees (35.5556c) tomorrow. Thursday it is supported to be 74 degrees (23.33333).

As I look at the weather for Las Vegas, 98 degrees (36.66667c) but feels like 94 degrees (34.4444c). Florida is only in the 80’s….

A/C is set to 76 degrees (24.4444c) because the darn Chinchillas won’t take off their Winter Jackets… The electric bill this month should be a great source of fun. :)

Stay cool!

95? That’s nothing. It was 98 when I went to lunch today. My one block walk to the Chase Bank Food Court was one trip too many today.

I moved to Toledo (not far from you) from Huntsville, Alabama. This, mind you, after living my entire life in the southeastern US, where we know that “hot” means 95+° and 90+% relative humidity. Right now, it’s 92° outside with 54% RH, giving a heat index of 100°– that’s still pretty darn hot, and I guess I’m losing my acclimation because when I go outside, I’m definitely feeling the burn.

Paul: LOL. This humidity is actually low for us too. Usually if it gets this hot for an extended period the humidity jumps right up because of all of the sources of water up here.

I have the opposite issue in my house right now, since the A/C is always running it is sucking all the humidity out of the air and it actually too dry. My skin is getting way dried out and itchy. :)
