And here finally are pics from the wildflower garden I mention in this blog entry - http://blog.joeware.net/2006/06/22/416/
The grass is finally coming in nice. It started to come in nice and then we went into 100 degree weather for a couple of weeks and the roots just weren’t deep enough so it all started getting pretty munged up even with daily watering. Now it has been colder and rainy so the grass is starting to come back strong.
Every day new flowers pop out of the garden that I didn’t see the day before. I do recommend that if you do this that you buy the Cutter Bug Free BackYard Hose Sprayer because the insects LOVE the wildflower garden, especially gnats and mosquitos. I think it is because it gives them a nice place to hide. I would go out there and they would swarm out, now after I spraying the cutter in there last week all is good, no annoying bugs but still see bees, butterflies, etc in there.
