While I completely failed in getting the Dual Tuner Hauppage card to work previously, adding some additional single tuner Hauppage cards worked beautifully and after a little registry hacking as per Green Button and Peter Rosser (MSFT) and a reboot I have 4 tuners up and running seemingly perfectly.
Next step, load up Vista Ultimate and make sure everything works as well…
Hmmm – the dual tuner Hauppage cards work great with Beyond TV. Are you sure they aren’t bad? I’d be happy to give them an extended in-depth test for you 🙂
It never got to the OS, the machine wouldn’t boot. I will try them in another machine. One thing of note, the dual tuner cards come in two styles with different chip sets. If you have the larger tuner/encoding chips then you have the older style which is what the single tuner cards all have.
