IMO, still ridiculously high and I can’t see myself spending money on it.

Even the XBOX 360 is too expensive but when the new Halo comes out, I expect I will be buying it.

There is a new line of XBOX 360’s coming out too.

Hopefully once those get out I won’t have to see anymore “red ring of death” articles.

If you think the PS3 is too high go to Best Buy and get an xbox360 and a blue-ray dvd player (that WILL upconvert your existing dvds to HD). My guess is you will pay a lot more for that than you will the PS3 and the ps3 includes all of it. ;)

Mike: Yep I heard about that, thanks for the link!

Corey: But I don’t want a blue-ray dvd player… At least not yet, come talk to me when someone decides on a final standard for all that crap. Plus when I buy a game console, I want it for playing games. I am not one of those people who gets into the multi-function devices. I sold electronics for about 4 years some 10 or so years ago, I got to watch the fun of people getting incredibly pissed because their multifunction stereo or tv/vcr or what not was not doing all functions and then had to buy a whole new unit (or if they were smart components) when that one piece couldn’t be fixed or was incredibly expensive to fix. I won’t even buy a multi-function printer even though I consider them throwaway.
