Summary

This paper discusses the origins of Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) within Microsoft products and, specifically, the implementation of and conformance to the LDAPv3 Proposed Standard within Microsoft Windows 2000 Server and Microsoft Windows Server 2003.
