Ok part 2 of 2 posts on some new reasons MSExchange annoys me…. I was pinged on a thread discussing a problem with the msExchMailBoxGuid being the same as the objectGUID for some mailbox enabled users and whether or not it was “bad”. The first thought is, have I ever seen this? I do a […]

Microsoft, pull your head out of your bum.

by @ Saturday, February 18th, 2006. Filed under rants

Microsoft is too hung up on names. Why do I say that? Because they like to change them and they like to push things simply on the name. Raise your hand if you got sick of hearing DOT NET all of the time? What about the word “Active”? Or COM or COM+? Microsoft picks words […]

In the wee hours of this morning (EST anyway) Borland announced that they are going to start looking for a buyer or investor to take on their IDE and Compiler products and people. This of course had the blogs and Borland newsgroups hopping this morning with everyone guessing what the future will bring. Lots of […]

Support joeware and have fun at the same time…

by @ Thursday, February 2nd, 2006. Filed under general

Order a joeware thong for your favorite Microsoft employee (TAM, PSS Engineer, MCS, PM, Product Dev, or even exec!). This is especially great if MS was helping you with something and said it couldn’t be done and then you found a joeware tool that could do it. I would love to hear that Steve Ballmer […]
