Well I have finally done it. I set up a blog. Partially to see how hard it was, partially because I need a better mechanism to announce joeware updates that people can sign up for notifications on, partially because I like to ramble.
Installation of the wordpress software was quite easy, in fact POWWEB which is my current web provider has a one button setup for it. Now I have to figure out templates, plugins, and the rest of that cool stuff. Category definition and creation took all of about 30 seconds. I realize this isn’t always the case. The hard part, possibly, will be coming back here and entering stuff occasionally.
I realize that some may consider me irresponsible since I started writing prior to setting up all of the categories I will need for the next 20 years, oh well… Responsible isn’t really what I am shooting for in this version of life; I am shooting for well fed and happy and tend to be hitting that mark well. I have added responsible as a feature request for V2.0.0. No timeline on that release, I am not in a hurry to do it.
Currently there are 3 categories; general, joeware updates, and rants. That about sums up what I want to talk about at the moment so that should be good.
