It is performance review time. I hate this time. I mean I like the idea of getting a possible amazing raise, but hate the documentation of things to prove I deserve one.
What do I put? I am not the type to track every accomplishment through the year, I just bust my butt doing whatever I feel is needed and continue on. That makes it exceptionally tough when I do have to document what I did. I certainly don’t go out of my way hunting down the things that would look spectacular, instead focusing on the issues that correcting really makes things better or anything that stops someone dead in the water.
Overall I generally feel very productive and useful right up until it is review time. And then I can’t recall anything I have done day to day.
no fear joe – I’m fairly confident that Google Groups/ActiveDir archives has documented all of that for you :-P. Lord help you if you have some kind of page limit though…you’re on your own there!!
