As Eddie said though… I think guns help…. Your heart would have to be pretty dodgy if someone said bang and threw bullets at you, even high caliber ones, and you died.
On the serious flipside, I don’t believe we should be taking guns away from people. It is sort of like the old joke says….
If someone made it illegal to get married, only outlaws would have inlaws.
If you outlaw guns, it is only going to take guns out of the hands of law abiding people.

You’ve never been to England, have you? The mere sight of a .22 piddly caliber is not only enough to have the owner thrown in prison for 5 years (or some such) but is guaranteed to cause mass hysteria. That’s enough to cause death in some people.
Been to England yes, loved it, looking forward to going back. I did see guns though… Couple of occasions… which was odd because I wasn’t expecting to see any…
