Oh, and why don’t you add an RSS link to your site? Not necessary to look inside the sourcecode, is it? (At least for those of us who can’t use FeedDemon as its developer refuses to adjust it to IE9, but that’s a different story.)

… well … the RSS syntax issue has now been corrected, and regarding the link it seems that I just hadn’t looked intensely enough.
