I just realized that I didn’t report back about the Book of Daniel.
I have to say that NBC lucked out that the AFA attacked them, I think they are enjoying the free advertising. If this show had to build its own following normally, it might have been tough, especially since it is only limited run until Feb 3. No time TO build a following.
Overall the acting is pretty bad in the show but the storyline is actually pretty funny. I don’t know how anyone could take it seriously unless you have a permanent stick up your butt but hey, it takes all sorts of people to make the world go round I guess. I just wish I had another tuner (or even two or three more, two isn’t enough tuners) on my Media Center so I could record the darn thing, it is up against BattleStar Galactica and Numbers which are outstanding shows that I refuse to not record. That means I have to be around to watch it and watching live TV on Friday Nights at 10PM which isn’t likely to happen unless I really sit down and think about it. Hopefully they will play the reruns at some other time, say 3AM Sunday mornings when no one cares what is on. You could take off one of the infomercials off that are designed to rip off people with no real money to buy anything and are suckers looking for a good thing or the American Dream, whatever comes first.
Sounds like there were some eight stations that decided to censor it. Cities in Texas, Missippi, Arkansas, and Kansas. Most of those stations were in Kansas. Sorry Kansas residents, you have been deemed too stupid to make your own decisions and obviously not intelligent enough to be able to change the channel if there is a show on you don’t like.
