Just a couple of photos.
This is the final pic from my kitchen tile project
This is a pic from the tile I put down in the pet room.
This is my main work desk. I actually do a lot of work from one of three laptops though because I can wander around the house or outside if I want. When I have to be very serious and crash on something, the desk is good due to the dual monitors. DV8000Z is sitting next to the monitors.
Edit: 2006-01-26 – rearranged pics and resized workspace because it was cut off, didn’t catch that in draft view mode.
I like that floor in the kitchen. I’m going to be buying my first house soon and I would love something like that.
Seeing you mention 3 laptops sprung a question in my mind: do you run pretty much the same thing on all 3 laptops or are they all task specific. I’d have to assume that they are all specific (hence the need for 3), but I was just curious how you group tasks for each laptop.
P.S. Couldn’t help but notice the book on your desk. I’m waiting for my local book store to recieve the AD 3rd Edition book. Can’t wait to dig in.
One laptop, an HP NC6000 is my work laptop. The other two are personal laptops, a Dell 8500 which is my main wandering around laptop and an HP DV8000Z which I am using to test 64 bit OSes and applications. I expect that at some point I will deprecate the use of the Dell and mostly use the HP because I am really starting to like the HP much more than the Dell.
