I upgraded the blog software this evening. It would have gone perfectly but I dorked it up. 🙂
Long story short, I wanted to use a parallel install upgrade method and when I did that I totally spaced on one of the directory levels required. It is something that I have only encountered with this ISP and I always seem to forget it. You don’t put the files directly under the subdomain folder, you actually put them under a subfolder under the subdomain. Not exactly sure why it is done this way, doesn’t much matter, I just have to start remembering it when making changes. 🙂
I have to say that the admin interface looks much smoother. The part you see looks the same but that is what I would expect since that is what skins/themes are all about. I may look around and see if there is something fun to change that to as well since I haven’t changed it in a year. I kind of like the colors though, very relaxing.
