   A little over the top is an understatement, but yea funny video. I went to their site and watched a few of their propaganda films and they sure make me sympathetic to at least part of PETAs cause. It’s really too bad we can’t have an organization that lobbies for the humane treatment of animals as they’re being ‘harvested’ for food and/or clothing without going to some of the wacko extremes that PETA does.

   On a slightly related note, I recently heard of fruitarians. They’ve got vegetarians beat hands down. Not only will they not eat meat, they’ll only eat fruit from a plant since that doesn’t kill the plant.

   But eating the fruit from a plant, while it doesn’t kill the plant, maliciously kills its babies! I mean, kidnapping your child doesn’t kill you either but it’s still not right!

   The problem with PeTA and all the other wackos is they attempt to equate human beings with animals and plants and it’s just not logically correct to make such connections. I especially liked their propaganda equating the trans-atlantic slave trade with chaining animals. Black Americans loved that, too! {sigh}
