Just so I don’t forget what I just worked out. To change screen resolution on Longhorn Server Core, modify HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Video\[GUID]\0000\DefaultSettings.XResolution HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Video\[GUID]\0000\DefaultSettings.XResolution On VMWare Server I am finding 1162×864 works out well.
